About Me
My name is Alan Southwart and I've always had a passion for cars. At first, all I wanted to be was a mechanic, starting part time work at the age of 14. While at college, doing a technicians diploma, I worked for a race team at the weekend. Later on I successfully raced 210cc karts myself.
After finishing college, I worked with prestige cars at Gray Paul Motors. It was while working here that I discovered my preference for driving. With the exception of one job, I have been either driving or instructing ever since.

Experienced Driving Instructor
I have 26 years driving experience, including holding a LGV 1 license for 21 years, and approximately 10 years of instructing either learner motorcyclists or car drivers.
I have been a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists for 5 years, another mark of my expertise and professionalism.
